Northwest Jam Camp offers one summer session:
Saturday, August 16th through Thursday morning, August 21st.
Jam Camp is sponsored by the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop (PSGW), and offers musicians the opportunity to play music in a beautiful, casual setting without schedules. We are an unstructured alternative to the PSGW workshop weeks. The focus of Jam Camp is on playing and jamming rather than classes and workshops, although anyone is welcome to organize group practices, ad-lib workshops or jams.

THE SETTING
Jam Camp is located on the outskirts of the historic seaport of Port Orchard, Washington, at a conference center in the woods surrounding a small lake. Go for a swim or take out a canoe. Hike the trail around the lake and listen to the birds or look for deer.

The conference center provides a main lodge that accommodates meals, concerts, socializing and jam sessions. A number of log cabins provide sleeping quarters for our music community, and one or two additional buildings are used as needed for sleeping, dancing and jamming.  Tent camping is also an option (in the field or South Lodge meadow), with ready access to nearby facilities.

THE STAFF
-Paula Walters is the year round Jam Camp Coordinator and on-site coordinator.
-Suze Marshall and John Foster are Child Care Coordinators. They will provide a two-hour activity program in the morning and also help facilite afternoon Parent-run activities.
